Shout Out Louds at Webster Hall with Freelance Whales 5/5/10

If I wasn’t feeling the electric charge of summer before, in the unnaturally sweaty temperatures and midnight lightening storms we’ve been having, then the nostalgic Freelance Whales and the pop icons Shout Out Louds certainly brought summer to me last night at Webster Hall in the form of stadium worthy pop-rock that floated out into the humid streets of the East Village. Accompanied by a hot dog and an airplane bottle of vodka, I felt nearly invincible when I left Webster Hall. I might have taken off my shoes and wandered Tompkins Square Park just to stay in the spirit but, you know, urban hazards abound.
